Northwest Missouri State crossed the century mark for the second consecutive game in a dominant 104-72 victory over Central Oklahoma in the MIAA Tournament semifinals Friday night.

The Bearcats (23-1) became the first team to score 100 points or more in back-to-back MIAA Tournament games in the league's history.

But that wasn't the only bit of history during the game.

Ryan Hawkins posted the first triple-double ever in the conference tournament. The senior from Atlantic, IA scored 30 points, pulled down 11 rebounds, and dished a career-high 11 assists.

Hawkins' triple-double is just the second in Northwest program history. The other came last season by teammate Trevor Hudgins.

Hudgins didn't finish far behind Hawkins on Friday evening. He scored 29 points on 10-14 shooting.

The Bearcats scored 100 points on Wednesday in the tournament's quarterfinal round on the way to a blowout win over Emporia State. That was the first time all year hitting triple digits.

Then Northwest did it again.

They shot 60-percent (36-60) in the game, along with 56-percent (14-25) from three-point range.

Northwest now moves onto the MIAA Tournament Championship Saturday evening against Washburn. It will be the third meeting of the season between the Bearcats and Ichabods. The two teams split the first two matchups with both games going into overtime.
